Thanks so much to the students and faculty of NYU’s Department for Social and Cultural Analysis for inviting me to their annual spring conference on April 8th. It was great to get a chance to present 2100: A Dystopian Utopia — The City After Climate Change to such an interdisciplinary audience, and to meet so many bright and intelligent students passionate about ecology and the future of life on earth. Thanks especially to moderator Max Cohen and fellow panelists Stephen Collier, Cassie Fennell and Janet Roitman for a really interesting and insightful discussion on The Present Value of Biophysical Crisis!
